Peak demand events

Do peak events always happen at the same set times?

Yes. Peak events take place during cold weather, when electricity demand is highest: in the morning from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., and in the evening from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

See this article for a breakdown of how these events vary depending on the type of device you have.
